1) Actively recognize and respect that the child possesses an imagination and remarkable creative potential.
2) With the child, seek to understand and discover the beauty and fascination of places, creatures and things in the child’s vicinity.
3) Help the child develop and freely express his sense of creative magic and wonder.
4) Discourage those who would tell the child the things he/she imagines are not real, or his dreams (whatever they are) are not valuable or attainable.
5) Encourage and help the child to understand the important role of creative thought and dreams in building new & exciting futures.
6) Never degrade or ridicule, overtly or covertly, the creative thoughts, dreams or illusions of the child.
7) Assist the child to experience formal art forms including music, visual art, poetry, singing, acting, etc., as well as other creative activities such as games, crafts, hobbies, sports and scouts.
8) Protect and defend the child’s artistic spirit, imagination and sense of wonder from anyone who would seek to stop, harm or destroy these.
9) In your daily activities, including hobbies, play and work, foster a spirit of excitement and wonder, and show the child that creativity plays a vital and healing role in life.
10) Encourage and assist the child to pursue his creative passions, execute his creative ideas and make his dreams a reality.

this is a wonderful blog, bringing back many memories of stories enjoyed with my children when they were still young enough to be read to. Now, we tend to discuss books which is interesting too, but my 12 year old is in that very scornful-of-fantasy stage, sigh.
I loved FInding Neverland, I cried and cried but it was beautiful.
Yes, this is most wonderful Samme! Reminded me of Milind and myself watching the film Terrabithia together around Christmastime! We both loved and enjoyed it! The power of a children’s imagination!
Thank you Nicole and Mila. I bow to both of you and all the mothers and parents who are raising their kids in their best way. I cried both on the movie Finding Neverland and on the Bridge To Terabithia, the most. I forgot to include that movie here but it is never too late for it to be included in this blog. : ) Thank you Mils for the reminder. This is the song Keep Your Mind Wide Open from the movie soundtrack by Anna Sophia Robb, the girl in the lead.
Another wonderful collection, Samme. You are doing remarkable work.
continued inspiration and blessings, dear one,
CG
I love to share my inspirations and thank you for the blessings CG.
