Mornin' Mr. Radio
Mornin' little Cheerios
Mornin' sister Oriole
Did I tell you everything is fine...
In my mind
Mornin' Mr. Shoe Shine Man
Shine 'em bright in white and tan
My baby said she loves me and
Need I tell you that
everything here is just fine
In my mind
'Scuse me if I sing
My heart has found its wings
Searchin' high and low
And now at last I know
Mornin' Mr. Golden Gate
I should walk but I can't wait
I can't wait to set it straight
I was shakin' but now I am
makin' it fine
Here in my mind
My heart will soar
With love that's rare and real
My smiling face will feel every cloud
Then higher still
Beyond the blue until
I know I can
Like any man
Reach out my hand
And touch the face of GOD
'Scuse me if I sing
My heart has found its wings
Searchin' high and low
And now at last I know
Mornin' Mr. Radio
Mornin' little Cheerios
Mornin' sister Oriole
Did I tell you everything is fine...
Wooo in my mind
So, won't you get up Oriole
So, won't you get up Cheerios
Wake up Mr. Radio
....it's fine
Here in my mind
Singin' about mornin' little radio
Mornin' little Cheerios
Wake up Mr. Radio
Need I tell you everything
right here is just doing fine

'Scuse me if I sing
My heart has found its wings
Searching high and low
And now at last I know
Just plain wonderful!!!
YOU ARE SUCH A JOY!!! Thank you for being YOU!
Blessings and love. Your friend, sherri
Everything goes alright!
This song has great vibes.
Thank you Sherri! Blessings and love to all of us,
Samme
reminds me of Hendrix
'Scuse me while I kiss the sky :)
mega hugs, buddy!
ROTFLMAO.
I can't tell you how much I love that song, how many times I've heard it….
and yet I never knew those were the lyrics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahahhahahahaha.
Thank You Samme, a humble bow to you this beautiful and glorious sunshiney morning!
Thank you Nicole.
And thank you dear Ariela. I know me too that's why I put the lyrics up there. Ok, so what do you think were some of the lines in the song are before you saw these lyrics?
Ha. You don't want to know :-D
I usually hum or mumble intelligible words to fill in what I can't make out.
For some reason, this works great. When I don't know the lyrics, the song seems magical.
What can I say, I love dancing with the Unknown ;-)
They just don't make these happy songs and videos anymore. I loved being a child of the 70's :-D Happy, happy, joy, joy :-D
Ohhhhhhhh weeeeeeeee. Love that song, and “my heart has found it's wings”
And I am still a sucker for cartoons at age 47. I love that lil radio dude :)
Thanks for sharing Samme. :)
Yup, me too,, gotta have my cartoons, my animations and my anime. I love the Hayao Miyazaki movies. Thank you Janie.
like that hendrix song, ariela, there's actually a website dedicated to mishearings of songs called “Kiss this guy” cause that's what many people have misheard Jimi saying so don't feel embarrassed. we all do it and it is so so funny! www.kissthisguy.com
LMAO…Thanks, Nicole! That's a HILARIOUS site! I love it!!!!
No, I never feel embarrassed, I think it's funnier that way.
This is my all-time favorite misinterpreted song lyrics EVER :-D Enjoy :-D
There it is Nicole, when you mentioned about “'scuse while i kiss the sky” i knew that there is a misinterpreted version of that and I could not recall what it was. Yes it is “scuse me while I kiss this guy”. I've been known to misinterpret lots of songs too but I've been known to be able to sing along with lots of lyrics and sometimes I can name that tune in one note. : )
Ha ha Ariela that's funny lyrics.
Hey you guys have you seen this one? This is so ROTFLMAO kind of thang
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RgL2MKfWTo
LOL, I've seen her, she's funny too.
Thanks for that, Samme…because it reminded me of the Bestest Misinterpeted Song of ALLLLLLL Time, shared right here at Gaia! Hilarious!!! You will be laughing all day…go on, Get You Some Benny Lava!
Samme, this actually was my job for 3 years, as I worked in a music store in Times Square…all day long, I had people humming songs, or saying the wrong words, or just giving me one word…and I could figure it out!!! My co-workers and I would play Name That Tune all the time to keep each other juiced up. Can't tell you how many people's days I've made to find them their long-lost-most-wanted songs! :-D
As a teenager, I took a lot of songs and made my own versions of them…usually very perverted versions :-D LOL.
That Benny Lava had me dying thanks guys!
and oh… very perverted versions? *shock*
:):)
Hey Nicole, glad you laughed your butt off…Benny Lava is fuuuuunnnnnny! I think that's one of the funniest things I've ever seen (though I'm not sure that it would seem funny to people Not Hindu or Not Indian or Not a Bollywood watcher) :-D
Ahh, yes…I do admit to making perverted versions of songs. Mind you, I was newly married at 18 and this is what we did together, LMAO! We'd have sleepovers with his cousins (yeah, well, we were still a bunch of kids, LOL) and we'd sing and dance and take dumb pictures (some I still have LOL) Lots of fun =)
Hmmm?? Don't get me started with the PerVerFes (Perverted Versions Festival). LOL
