This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 13, 2008:
When have you felt the most free?
How can I feel free
when all around
the world
my brothers and
sisters living
in abject poverty
running away
from bombs and
bullets
shackled by
age old
traditions
in the name
of religion
brought out by
prostitution
dying of hunger
in concentration
camps
for the sins
they have not
committed.
How can I feel free
when the powers
that be regulates
and promulgates
what I have to see
hiding and
manipulating and
giving me false
beliefs that I am
free living in the
greatest country
a sense of false
security is what
has been given me
and I need to wake
up from this insanity.
oh world
do not just go to
California
follow California
let your gays marry
they are not the enemy
a closed mind is
a dangerous mind
let your brothers
and sisters marry
for love and for
humanity.
free your minds
free your hearts
free your soul.

i think you can work for the freedom of others, feel the pain & sorrows in this world, & still relish the freedom that is yours. Don't deny yourself the joy of it because you cannot fix it all. their will always be suffering, and you can & should work to alleviate it, but do not deny yourself the happiness that is there for you. freedom is a gift, & their is no guilt in admitting that you are one of the lucky on this planet and enjoying it.
I see J.D. Rockefeller, J.P. Morgan, and Paul Warburg in one frame… ( You can just tell that something dodgy is about to go down…)
