If you have not done so yet, I recommend for all of you to rent and view the movie titled DEVDAS, a Bollywood film from India. It stars the king of Bollywood Sha Rukh Khan, Aishwaria Rai and Madhuri Dixit. If you have not seen any Bollywood movie at all this movie is one of the best movies to watch. The production was so grand and the movie is just beautiful and sometimes heartachingly beautiful. This was the first Indian movie to open the Cannes Film Festival. You can rent it at Netflix or try looking it up if you have a Blockbuster account. If you do not have either of the two online account, you may want to visit your local India store if they have a video section. Go ahead browse around do not be afraid. Get one of those sliced mango in a plastic container, they are delicious. You may have not visited your local Indian store but do not be afraid they are friendly. You will be broadening your cultural knowledge and tastes when you do this and when you watch a movie like Devdas if you have not seen any Bollywood movie before. There's several dance choreography that are juxtaposed throughout the film. Let me know if you see it and tell us what you think of the movie. While you are in the store you might as well rent Kabhie Kushi Kabhie Gham. It is a wonderful movie as well. There goes your cultural studies for today.

Thanks, Samme, for recommending this movie and bringing it to our attention and for the cool videos! I shall rent the movie. Thanks for the critique!
Thaks for the lesson in Bollywood! I needed to know more about this!
Thank you Starseed and martha.
Yes Bollywood is the name of the film industry in India, just like Hollywood. India is the number one in the world in terms of highest number of films produced every month. I cannot give a number but it's lots. I would say 99% of Bollywood films have a song and dance segments if not 100%. There are like 5 or more of this song and dance juxtapposed throughout the movie. They are fun to watch. There are a lot of movie gems out there from Bollywood. I think everybody has to see Devdas if they don't have to see any Bollywood movie after that. You just have to see this movie. This is a culture of dance and song and spirituality. God is in the details.
Just because MOST of the Indian populate is on the streets and dying of hunger, lovelessness and rejection, does not make the Bollywood people BAD;
Just because India is such a RICH country and it is the Bollywood people that enjoy it and dont share it, does not make them BAD;
Just because there was a Bollywood Film Festival in Singapore, and I saw them all presidentially walk by and not contribute even one cent as I played on my recorder Indian raga just for them……while minimum wage Bangladeshi workers were So touched by my music that they gave me good coins with such kind smiles, while the MAharajas of Doubtful Talent ignored everyone….does not make themBAD.
Just because they are evil and cruel, does thatmake them BAD?
Hey Samme - that's one of my all time favorite Bollywood 'Love Hurts” movies! Great pick. But I shudder to think of the sub-titling!!!
Hi, just stumbled by again. Well, the great gap between the rich and the poor, with people not knowing what is a way to respond to it, DOES bring people to feel anger. Now, what do you do with it?
