VIRTUAL ZAADZ DAY ~ Progressive Dinner

"Peridot and I would like to invite you to participate in a "Virtual Zaadz Day" Progressive Dinner. Have you ever been to a progressive dinner? The idea is this. You go one place for hors d'oeuvres, then to the next house for the main course and to another for desert. My friends in Leadville, Colorado used to do this all the time and it was fun. I suggest that rather than having just three places, we make a day of it and go somewhere for breakfast, somewhere else for Brunch, Lunch, Tea, Then we can do either Supper and Dinner or the traditional hors' d'oeuvres. Keep in mind - we are all virtual here."

Oh my Goodness Ariela, I did not even noticed! I am laughing out loud here myself! The first letter of the first five dinner guests spell Z A A D S. This one is called “The Eternal Supper”, no dieting allowed and anybody can come back for more servings.

Hello friends, It's truly amazing that the initials of the first 5 guests spell ZAADS! Hmm. I wonder what the rest will spell? How about an M? Let's put that in, and see what we get. One thing is for sure, Samme's table offers the purest and most nourishing food of all–the Love that comes to us all from God! :)

I supposes we need some stories to get the conversation going…
Well as long as we are dining I will talk about scones. Ever since our oldest was a baby she has loved scones. Our favorite place to get them is at the Dane County Farmer's Market in Madison, WI. We love the chedder/chive scones and I also like to get a cinamon/almond scone once and awhile.
Well as she has grown, she has come to love making scones at home too and it is just amazing how the time has flown since pushing in her stroller to her now mixing up her own recipes. The ones in the picture were made by my wife today and if you look close enough you can see the rabbit and ghost shapes. I am not sure what those two have to do with each other except that those were the only two cut outs she could find.

Oh Samme! I couldn't figure out how to get here! There are so many responses that I thought I had another something or other! I ordered all the noodles, and then I went in the kitchen with my knitting needles and I knitted noodles all night. This morning, I have finished knitting a noodle tent and set it up on your lawn so that you can have Festivals in it and if people get hungry they can nibble the walls, then I'll come and patch them with new noodles.
I so enjoyed having Gandhi at our table, and I'm glad I got to sit by you! The Pinkness of it all makes my eyes happy. I'm sorry I was lost a lot yesterday. What you have done is so magnificent. Of course, I am not at all surprised about that.

You have provided a feast beyond compare, and forgive me if I am obtuse, but how does one sit at the table? I had to eat standing up! Not to mention, I lost my wings pudding wrestling over at Jena's (perhaps the wind was too gusty over there :-D), by chance has someone here has them? I would love to know how you made the table and were able to put guests around it. Perchance I may borrow upon your great talent and creativity?

Hello again everybody, dinner guests you are all friends. May I have everybody's attention please. Pardon me for interrupting your wonderful dinner. I have an announcement to make.
This is the 45th comment. In honor of everyone here, I am making a donation to Loaves and Fishes, a charitable organization here in Sacramento, California who helps homeless individuals. I think the choice of the charity to give to which is Loaves and Fishes is very appropriate in the spirit of this gathering. Since there are 45 comments so far, I rounded it up to 50, so I am donating 50 dollars to Loaves and Fishes.
Also, since I am really honored by all your friendships, in your honor I am volunteering my time to Meals on Wheels here in Sacramento. Another appropriate charity in the spirit of this gathering. May the world be fed, may nobody no longer becomes hungry or poor, and may all our souls and spirits be nourished and fed with God's love.
In honor of one of our guests here, I am donating 20 dollars to a charity for Darfur in Mike's honor. Mike is passionate about the cause for the peace in Darfur. Visit his pod for Darfur. and learn, share, and act.
