Going Home
You have loved your whole life
Even still beyond
I can feel your presence
Even now your gone.
I can feel, oh I can feel
The love you send to me
Your my joy, your my soul
Your my love, my home.
The angels are now with you
Giving you wings to fly
I am here, I can feel
You are going home
Love will take you home.
Life is not without its sadness
Theres ups and downs I know
You made whats hard so easy
You made my heart to glow.
Your my prayer, your my saint
The angels bow down to you
Your my hero, this much I know
How I love you so!
Some have searched their whole life
For a love that will never fade
I can see, yes I can see
That's what you gave to me.
Your my hero, your my shining home.
You are going home...,
Love is going home.
You have loved your whole life
Even still beyond
I can feel your presence
Even now your gone.
I can feel, oh I can feel
The love you send to me
Your my joy, your my soul
Your my love, my home.
The angels are now with you
Giving you wings to fly
I am here, I can feel
You are going home
Love will take you home.
Life is not without its sadness
Theres ups and downs I know
You made whats hard so easy
You made my heart to glow.
Your my prayer, your my saint
The angels bow down to you
Your my hero, this much I know
How I love you so!
Some have searched their whole life
For a love that will never fade
I can see, yes I can see
That's what you gave to me.
Your my hero, your my shining home.
You are going home...,
Love is going home.
GOING HOME
poetry/lyrics by Samme Samareta, copyright 2007 http://princesamwise.zaadz.com
inspired and sung based on Anton Dvorak's "Symphony in E minor"
from "New World". Dvorak based his symphony on an old African-American Spiritual
sung by slaves who were nearing death.
*****************************
I was inspired to put new lyrics to Antonin Dvorak's 2nd movement of his 9th symphony. Dvorak in his time visited America and discovered a rich legacy of African-American Spirituals and incorporated those in his symphonies and musical compositions. I wish for Better Midler to sing this song of my composed lyrics with a new modern arrangement. I was touched by the melody and the words just poured through me from divine inspiration. I would like to thank God for the opportunity to share this who wants to receive it as a gift. I have a suggestion for those who want to print out this blog entry. You can print the texts above the asterisks and leave those copies wherever people may find them. That is why I put my zaadz address so that we will see if somebody will become a zaadz member because they have found your printouts. Thank you,
Samme
