The Poem of Peace That Goes On For Eternity.
Let's make all the posts a long continuous thread of Rumi poetry. It will be wonderful to read a long continuous thread of Rumi poetry chosen and posted by different people. This may inspire you to read more about Rumi or make poetry of your own. Rumi composed thousands of lines of poetry in his lifetime. I invite you all to share your favorite Rumi poems.

It is your turn now,
you waited, you were patient.
The time has come,
for us to polish you.
We will transform your inner pearl
into a house of fire.
You're a gold mine.
Did you know that,
hidden in the dirt of the earth?
It is your turn now,
to be placed in fire.
Let us cremate your impurities.
Namaste Samme:
thanks for sharing Rumi with us…he is eternally divine…

O incomparable Giver of life, cut reason loose at last!
Let it wander grey-eyed from vanity to vanity.
Shatter open my skull, pour in it the wine of madness!
Let me be mad, as You; mad with You, with us.
Beyond the sanity of fools is a burning desert
Where Your sun is whirling in every atom:
Beloved, drag me there, let me roast in Perfection!
To heal the burning of your sorrow,
I seek a flame.
To gather the dust of your door,
I seek the palms of my hands.
To deal with you hiding behind your holiness,
I seek a good time instead.
