September 19 at 2:28 AM. You can post any kind thoughts, short or long. Give blessings to the world. Make your posts and I will add the pennies. Come back and post everyday for a good cause. Just scroll down to the end of this page or press the "End" button on your keyboard to take you instantly to the "Add Comments" button for you to be able to post your thoughts which will add to the penny I have to give out to charity. GOAL: 5,000 Thoughts posted by January 1, 2007. In order to reach that goal we must have at least 50 posts everyday until the project end date. Please let me know if you would like to give a matching grant.
With all due respect, I know that your thoughts are worth more than a penny that is why at the end of this project a lucky participant will be given a surprise generous gift.

THE LUCKY PENNY
Some people would like to see the United States stop producing the one-cent piece. They say pennies are a nuisance, and they point out that they cost more to make than their one-cent value.
But a survey by Coinstar, a company that makes coin-exchange machines, says 65 percent of people polled favored keeping the penny in circulation. And groups such as Americans for Common Cents say they don't want to lose their cents.
At least for now, it appears the penny's luck is holding out.
Liberate yourself by examining and analyzing.
Don't wallow in self-pity.

Don't be frivolous.

Today I received my Zaad T and stuff - great timing!!!!! The Noble Eightfold Path is essentially a practical guide of ethics, mental rehabilitation and mind deconditioning, and is believed, by Buddhists, to result in an end to dukkha, or suffering, which is a goal that has informed and driven the entire Buddhist tradition since its inception 2500 years ago. As the name indicates, there are eight elements in the Noble Eightfold Path, and these are further subdivided into three basic categories as follows:

September 22 is the International Day for Peace.
Your outer world of form and experience is a reflection of your inner world of thoughts and feelings. As above, so below. As within, so without. That is the law.
The greater your awareness of the Presence of God within you, the more the Presence fills your consciousness. That is the law.
The deeper your understanding of Spirit as the Source, Substance, and Activity of your supply, the more permanently that Truth will be etched in your consciousness. That is the law.
It is your spiritual consciousness - your Knowledge of the Presence of God within you as total and complete fulfillment - that interprets itself as every form or experience in your world. That is the law.
God is lavish, unfailing Abundance, the rich omnipresent substance of the Universe. This all-providing Source of infinite prosperity is individualized as me - the Reality of me.
I lift up my mind and heart to be aware, to understand, and to know that the Divine Presence I AM is the Source and Substance of all my good.
I am conscius of the Inner Presence as my lavish Abundance. I am conscious of the constant activity of this Mind of Infinite Prosperity. Therefore, my consciousness is filled with the Light of Truth.
Through my consciousness of my God-self, the Christ within, the Buddha within, as my Source, I draw into my mind and feeling nature the very substance of Spirit. This substance is my supply; thus, my consciousness of the Presence of God within me is my supply.
Money is not my supply. No person, place, or condition is my supply. My awareness, understanding, and knowledge of the all providing activity of the Divine Mind within me is my supply. My consciousness of this Truth is unlimited; therefore, my supply is unlimited.
The Divine Consciousness that I am is forever expressing its true nature of Abundance. This is its responsibility, not mine. My only responsibility is to be aware of this Truth. Therefore, I am totally confident in letting go and letting God appear as the abundant all-sufficiency in my life and affairs.
My consciousness of the Spirit within me as my unlimited Source is the Divine Power to restore the years the locusts have eaten, to make all things new, to lift me up to the High Road of abundant prosperity. This awareness, understanding, and knowledge of Spirit appears as every visible form and experience that I could possibly desire.
When I am aware of the God-Self within me as my total fulfillment, I am totally fulfilled. I am now aware of this Truth. I have found the secret of life, and I relax in the knowledge that the Activity of Divine Abundance is eternally operating in my life. I simply have to be aware of the flow, the radiation, of that Creative Energy, which is continuously, easily, and effortlessly pouring forth from my Divine Consciousness. I am now aware. I am in the flow.
I keep my mind and thoughts off “this world,” and I place my entire focus on God within as the only Cause of my prosperity. I acknowledge the Inner Presence as the only activity in my financial affairs, as the substance of all things visible. I place my faith in the Principle of Abundance in action within me.
Keep your money circulating. If you hoard it for a rainy day, you may have to spend it on an ark.

This is the 100th post. The lucky penny to the lucky dollar.
Let us learn to think of dollars, as we do of leaves on trees or oranges, as the natural and inevitable result of the law active within. There is truly no need to be concerned even when the trees appear to be bare, as long as we are conscious of the truth that the law is even now operating within to bring forth fruit after its own kind. Regardless of the state of our finances at any given moment, let us not be concerned or worried because we now know that the law acting in, through, and as our consciousness is at work within us, when we are asleep as well as when we are awake, to provide all those added things.

Today Monday, September 25 is powerfully and positively energized day. I just joined two blogging sites, one is free and the other one I paid premium where it offers unlimited blogs and where I can invite another to blog. Check it out at samme.vox.com and the other one at samme.typepad.com . I am so happy I was able to use my name for the URL. I also joined an online diary service but it's not set up yet. With these new tools, hopefully we can get more people to participate in this wonderful projects and bring more members to zaadzland. I also joined a transformational books circle here on the net and I will bring all what I learned from that in the pod that I administer Book Lovers Pod. I thank all of you for your support and you made me think of more projects to do. Keep coming back. I am wonderful because of all of you are wonderful and you made me so!

OK everybody imagine with me! Let's say all these comments are over 500 comments and imagine that however you see them on the screen, is how they look like painted on a winding cement path surrounded by green mowed grass and flowers everywhere. From the end of the comments you will be walking barefoot and your eyes look down on the ground reading each kind comment as you walk along. Right now you are reading my comment on the ground and then you will read 11 days later ayla said and then MsCapriKell said 10 days later and then Ladybear said 9 days later…, You read each comment and the one who posted it as you walk along barefoot. And what would this path be called? Possibly ”Penny Lane” in the Kindness Park of Peace Valley. Imagine that!

Create a God Box.
Find a beautiful box that you like. On a piece of sheet paper that will fit inside the box “write whatever you want God to give you.” Write as many requests as you like and place them face up the box. Put a special pen inside the box too. Put your box in your sacred place. Whenever a request has been fulfilled, find that sheet of paper where the request was written and fold that piece of paper. You can either put the folded paper underneath the pile or put it in another box to collect all your answered prayers.

Hello everyone! WooHoo, passed 200 and still two more months to go! Awesome.
We sat side by side in the morning light

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a poem for those dealing with cancer themselves, as supporters, friends, or any other way…
Cancer Can be a Blessing
Just imagine. Just think it is possible
That cancer can be a blessing
In a very clever and interesting disguise
A really surprising but a good one
We don’t need to compare and contrast
But we will if it can help alleviate some fears
Cast some precious light in its darkness and
Move hope and faith in the plenty of doubts
Cancer is a terrible disease but not a chronic one
Once conquered, the victory can be for life
It doesn’t leave you without organs or limbs
Neither does it have to unless you decide to
It doesn’t ask you to be on a daily dialysis
Or ties you to breathing or pumping machines
It doesn’t force you to forget your senses
Or be unable to control your urges and needs
It doesn’t make you reliant on others
For eating, walking, shopping or planning
It doesn’t rob you of your outappearance
Nor does it make you obese or utterly overweight
It doesn’t deprive you from your senses
It lets you enjoy vision, smell, taste, touch and hearing

The Nobel Prize winner grants a microcredit loans of 10 to 15 dollars to poor people (mostly women) to help them set up their own businesses. Ten to 15 dollars is not a lot of money for most of us but this little amount can change the lives of people who are lucky enough to be granted with a loan. Thats what the idea behind this Pennies Project, stuff that we take for granted means a world of difference for a lot of people overseas.

SMILE
She smiled at a sorrowful stranger.

I would like to extend my hope for peace in Sudan and to recommend to all of you an op-ed piece in Sunday's NY Times by Nicholas D. Kristof titled “If Not Now, When?” and ask all of us to contact our representatives about Kristof's recommendations for how to bring peace to this area (which is threatening to overwhelm neighboring countries as well). I don't think sanctions are the answer, but we have to do something because we're quickly approaching a situation to equal the genocide in Rwanda during the mid-90's. We can't stand by and do nothing but pray. I know this message is out of step with all of your sweet thoughts here but I can't stand knowing what is happening over there. I have to remind myself that sometimes creating peace means engaging with terrible conditions in the world.

When I used to teach Sociology at our local community I ended every class with this comment. “Alright, we've had enough fun for today, let's get the hell out of here and do something good for somebody.” At the end of the semester the final exam was really simple. Write down 25 things you learned in this class. Do something good for somebody today was always listed. One of my students wrote the following , which made me think that maybe afterall, I was teaching them something. This is all paraphrased by me, but it went something like: I enjoyed your class, you not only learned my name, but you learned something about me. I work in a restuarant and most of us that work in the restaurant proper, usually have nothing to do with the diswasher. And the owner of the reataurant never allowed the dishwasher to come into the part where the customers were eating. During the summer, it gets sweltering hot back in the kitchen area. One day, I went to the back and chatted with the diswasher, and I even got to know his name. Then, I started to bring him a cold glass of Pepsi from the front. I learned that from your class.

Love that thought. One time here at work, I deliberately made a mistake so that I can get feedback from my superiors because no matter how wonderful my work is, I don't get any feedback. So I made a deliberate mistake and sure enough, they listened and I got some feedback on how to correct it which of course I was able to do.

Hi Everyone! Hope your Turkey Day was wonderful. I ate entirely too much and then got up at 3:00 a.m. and joined the masses for the biggest shopping day of the year. As I say every year….I'm never doing that again!

Ayla, you are the first person I have known to do that shopping ritual. My goodness, did you go out in a full metal suit and a lance, maybe one of those spiky knight's clubs??????
I have a tough time going shopping….for food. And once I am there, it is like visiting the zoo, to me. I am in awe of the mass of humanity, the noise, the shoving, and then there is all the stuff for sale.
Ohhhh, the parking, now there is a blood sport…..Having had to beat Italian and Brazilians to parking spots in their countries, I found the training is a godsend at the malls here. After circling the lots for an eternity, it is essential one is not bullied out of their space. Eye contact, no hesitation, fast and furious moves, are essential…..hahahahaha. After such a triumphant victory, I usually jump out of my Jeep, and off I go, forgetting to remember whence I parked the bloody thing.
So saying it is to Los Angeles I am bound today on the I-5 parking lot…..Adieu, with awe and hugs.
Every day is a day of Thanks and Gratitude for me. Warm, furry hugs to y'all
LMAO Jaguar! I just park at the back and figure it's good exercise! The humanity, the noise, the shoving… oy! That got to me … I kept thinking “you have got to be kidding me!” and then reminding myself that I was there too, although I was the one getting shoved out of the way and not getting what I had came for! LOL! Seriously folks, pay the extra $20 a few days later! I did have to go to the grocery store the day before Thanksgiving and I just decided before I ever stepped foot in the store that I would make it an adventure and people watch, not be in any kind of a hurry at all. That was fun and I laughed a lot (the dazed little ones are the best to watch … one little guy had absolutely had enough and laid right down on his back in the middle of the aisle, refusing to budge for anyone … I found him very brave!) and made lots of loving eye contact.

I never, ever listened to Ozzy's music because I thought he was Satan himself …. but after falling in love with his bumbling goofy self while watching his reality show I started listening to some of his ballads that my husband thought I might like. “Little Man” is my favorite …. I wish I would have written it for my boys -it's so exactly how I felt when they were little. It's on hubby's IPod & I put it on and listen to it when I'm feeling mushy and sentimental!

Spent the day with the dolphins yesterday and all the other critters at SeaWorld. Can't get any happier than that - sunshine, friendly folk, fun loving dolphins, and Mother Nature singing her summer songs through her flora and fauna.
