WRITE A LETTER TO YOURSELF PROJECT

My new project is called "WRITE A LETTER TO YOURSELF PROJECT." I would like you all who would like to do this to think about this. In the following days, write a letter to yourself. As a guideline, talk about yourself and where you are at the moment in your life. Then talk about what you would like to achieve in the future. Write down nice things that you would like to tell to yourself. I want you to write everyday and not reread what you have written. When you have written several or a lot of pages during a course of several days, I want you to fold those letters and seal it in an envelope. Write down the dates when you wrote your letters.
Now here is where the fun part and the magic and mystery begins. I want you to address that envelope to yourself and put a stamp on it. Then put that self-addressed stamped envelope in another bigger envelope and send it to me on an address I will furnish later. You can even have a sealed envelope within a sealed envelope of a letter to your significant other and hand it to them when you received it again many years from now. I will hold on to your letters that I received and will store it in my "Sacred fire-proof God Box" which will be placed on a sacred space altar where it will be basked and be infused with sacred chanting, mantra, invocations, and the lovely sounds of gongs, bells, and my heart chakra 16-inch crystal sounding bowl. I will not open and I will not read your letters. I will hold on to them for several years and then mail them back to you after many years. I will not tell how long I am going to hold them. One day in the future, you will just be surprise to receive a letter written by you and you will be reading something that came from you that you have forgotten.
People from outside United States who want to do this can send me their sealed self-addressed letters and not worry about the stamp. I will take responsibility for the stamp. I asked US residents to put just one stamp just so that when you received your letter again you can see that wonderful stamp you attached to it again. Of course, many years from now postage price will be different, so I am going to take care of that too.
So if you want to do this, meditate on your loving intentions and start writing from the heart and soul. Come back here and I will furnish the address later. You can write on the comments that you want to do this. Abundant blessings and healing to all. Thank you!

Samme: This is spectacular! You have my other comments in my personal message to you, but this should be ongoing for awhile. I suggested that you post in WROPS for Writers as well, and any other pods dealing with visioning, life planning, success and so on.

Yes I could see this as ongoing for awhile and maybe even after a year from now, some new people will see this post and would like to send me their letters, and they should know that they still could. I am the ”Letters to Yourself Bank of Samme.” I shall do as you recommend to post in WROPS and other pods.
I appreciate all the lovely comments and I affirm myself to be a Teacher and you should all know you ALL are my teachers and I am your humble Student. This is another cause for Celebration for us all by writing to ourselves to affirm our Divinity and instill Happiness.

Just the thought of writing such a letter is a great exercise, though normally I might find a reason to put off doing so. Since you have added the “Samme Love Letter Bank” twist, you bring the letter/visioning exercise into a whole new vibration and catapult it out into a magical stratosphere of Zaadz community shape-shifting proportions. This has given me a stronger incentive to take part in your magickal creation while I sit down and write a letter to myself. You have inspired many to write their dreams and kind support to themselves because you have offered your love and intent to hold these letters in a sacred “Samme Magic Bank”

Samme, this is a wonderful idea. I actually did this once at the suggestion of a therapist, except the letter was sent to me a few weeks later. It is a really powerful way to affirm all the good qualities one possesses and desires to cultivate, as well as goals to achieve in the future. My only question is: What if we move? How would we get the letter?

Thank you Alison, it is wonderful to hear from you and it's great to have you here. Okay I am going to give you all a glimpse of my plan on when I would send them all back to you, after 5 years or more that I have kept them with me in my sacred space. Since you asked those questions about “What if we move? How would we get the letter?”, let's do this, I will give you all my external email so that you can email me when and if you move. Of course, you can also use the zaadz email. Or you can send me a post card telling me your new mailing address with your full name so I know where to put the correct address in. Also when I am going to mail the letters back I will put my return address on the outside of your envelopes so that if I get them back I can still hold on to them until you have remembered to contact me and give me your new addresses. Does that sounds good? If you are not going to change residence I suggest for everybody to “forget” about the letter and not think when you are going to get it back. It's going to be awhile. That's the mystery and the magic of it, so write a long letter to yourself.

Okay here is an idea, use Darina's link to email yourself in the future (5 years from now) to remind yourself to email me or write to me to give me your new mailing address just in case you move. Include my name there with my email address and mailing address that I will furnish soon. If you didn't move then just wait for your lovely personalized letters to arrive. Sounds like a plan.

Samme, the one who emailed you sounds like jealous to me. Count me in on this project. As Hermoine Granger said in Harry Potter, “Courage and friendships.” Courage to do your vision no matter what others will say and have friendships along the way, like we do to you who support your visions. I am writing today. Funny things like handwriting might be different in 5 years. My journal always seems foriegn to me when I go back and read it a few years later. It's nice to see the changes in myself. You are a living, blessed journal, binding my pages together for future reading, that's a new one for the resume! ;-) I am going to send my parents address because they never move and I can count on them living in the same place 5 years from now. YAY This is great and so soo exciting!
I did this my senior year of high school and the letter was sent by a teacher one year later. What a change I had made in that time. It was spiritually revitalizing to read and now re-read that letter.
Can’t wait to send and later recieve my own letter again!!

This is a great project!
Something close to your concept: I have developed a website which allows people to write down their dreams and sent it to themselves - in the future. The letter is stored in a secure server that sends it back to the author on a specified date.
Nowadays often people won't stop to think about their dreams, about the ideals they want to pursue. Dreaminder offers a place for reflection and inspiration, helps people in setting their direction and what they want to do with their life.
